I am trying to find a good shop for re-painting my 1972 MGB. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I can't give you leads on a paint shop as I always do my own body and paint work, but don't rule out this option. Painting is not that hard with today's paints. Check out this site: www.autobodystore.com/Default.htm The painting 101 video is very helpful for the first time painter. You can save lots of money doing it yourself.

That's a great site!
Another thing I can recommend is to take an auto body course at the local vocational technical school. Cost here in Ocean County is only about $150 for 10 weeks, but after you get through the intro course and go on to the advanced, it's essentially self directed. In other words, you pay $15 per week to use their facilities, like top of the line paint cabinets and MIG welders, to do whatever you want on your car. Not a bad deal.
