The SHF at the Arts Center in Holmdel is rain or shine, so don't look out your window tomorrow morning wondering if they'll call it. It will go on with or without us.
The forecast calls for AM showers with a possible PM thunderstorm. Obviously, if you car isn't weatherproof, you have to look out for it's welfare, but if it can take a little water, or if it clears as the day wears on, come out and join the party. The display will be in Row C South.
I will be there at 10:30 or thereabouts in anything short of a teeming downpour. Let's hope we get a late repreive on the rain.

Well, if you were planning to come but didn't because of the weather, you gave up too soon. By 11:30, the clouds parted and the sun came out. By 12:30, it became a beautiful day. 4 stalwarts showed up: Peter Richardson, Scott Erichsen, Ray Carbone and myself. We had lunch, took in the festival, and left around 2:30 for a short but pleasant drive through Monmouth County.
We'll try again next year.
