The function is going on as planned at Johnson Boat Works. Look at todays Local front page (Asbury Park Press) and that is what we Have an opportunity to participate in. The weather shows to get better as the day goes. There are going to be some neat old boats there . Please come on down and check it out . Very informal basically reserved parking for us with no time constraints. Main events are being held from 11 to 4

As President Scott pointed out, the event did go off on time and despite an ominous looking start, the day improved rapidly to the point where it was sunny and actually HOT, and was glad I opted for shorts instead of long pants.
The display topped out at 12 cars, 6 of them belonging to PEDC members. A big thank you to Altha Morton (who got us involved), Rodney Ford, Scott Erichsen, Mike Browne and the Ruhnkes for taking the time to join me at the show. We were joined by a Classic Beetle, a Model T panel truck, a Porsche 356, a Triumph GT6, an MG-TC and an MGB. We even tapped a couple of these folks for new memberships!
Apart from the car display, there was plenty to see with a wide array of classic wooden and (some) fiberglass boats, and the NJ Museum of Boating was also open for our inspection. Nice day!
