A few years back, a few members joined us on a trip to Broadway to see the outrageously funny Dame Edna on Broadway for a Sunday 3pm matinee. When we heard he/she was going to be in Atlantic City, we also ventured over to catch the show.
She's back -- as the title says "with a vengence". I'm going to order tickets and would like to know if any other members would like to go; perhaps if the group is large enough (20 or more), discounted tickets could be purchased. If not, the prices are $94/ticket for orchestra seats and $76 for mezzanine seats. The show is going to run from November 5th until March 13, 2005. (I might be able to get the tickets slightly less by going to the box office if we don't order online thru ticketmaster; depends how quickly they go.)
My suggestion would be Sunday, November 7th; or Sunday, January 9....the plan would be to meet at the theatre (Times Square) at the time of the show. Once I know # of people attending, we can decide on dinner before or after the show at a cute place I know close by.
If you're interested, please ring me or e me at pdurkin@msn.com and let me know your date preferences.
