For those interested, I just received this from Mike Romond, chairman of the NJTA's Braille Rallye event. This is a for charity event that I belive is a standard TSD rallye where you supply the car and driver, and they supply a sight impaired navigator working form a set of braille instructions. Here's what Mike has to say:
"The date for the BRAILLE RALLYE has been set. It is to be held on Sunday, 26 September. The rallye is to be held in conjunction with Morristown's Fall Festival. The start time is still tentative (although 10:00am is looking good at this point). We have also been asked to provide a few cars for the parade. I would like to start taking names of the drivers who will be participating in this event. It is a "RAIN OR SHINE" event; there will not be a rain date. I ask that all
drivers who sign-up for this event remain committed and see it through so as to not disappoint the visually impaired navigators. They are very much looking forward to this event."
"At this point in the planning, it looks like we will be limiting the field to 30 vehicles in the rallye. We will also need checkpoint workers and field observers."
"I can be reached at the following numbers:

If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me. To sign-up for the rallye--please contact MIKE NEUHAUS."
"I thank everyone, in advance, for your cooperation and enthusiasm. SEE YOU AT THE RALLYE!!!

chairperson--BRAILLE RALLYE 2004"
Since this event will go off rain or shine, I would think you enter a coupe if you have one (Pat?), or a convertible that you're comfortable in with the top up. We have no conflicts with our own schedule on that date. Let's see if we can help Mike out with a few entrants from our club.
