Is this message board dead? Last post was 11/29/2008. Anyone planning to attend the vintage races and show at Thunderbolt Raceway at the end of May? I will be going, not sure if the E will be ready, I have just the brake hydraulics to reconnect and reinstall the carbs. If its not I'll be taking the daily driver. Would anyone like to meet for the ride down or at the event? It's a great facility and last years inaugural races were great fun. www.njmotorsportspark.com/events.html#Vintage

Evidently it's not totally dead as your post was read three times in just a few hours, but this does point out the limitation of message boards. Unless people post frequently, they go to sleep and may never wake up because people stop checking them. Perhaps an e-mail list, which can sleep for months but wake up and be useful in an instant, would be a better choice for us.
Oh, but to get back to your question, the club has no plans to go down. We do have an Air Museum tour that Jon, the host, was thinking about moving to May 30 because it may suit his flight schedule (he's a reserve airline pilot) better.
Stay tuned for further info on that.

Its unfortunate the board does not see more use. An email list, depending on the frequency of use, can be a bit of a pain. The jag list can get that way if you opt for delivery of the emails. If you don't, its very similar to a message board. I wish I could get to the club meetings; any thought ever given to having them on a weekend every once in a while so those that cannot make weeknights can stay in touch? The museum trip you mention on 5/30 is the same weekend as the Vintage Festival at the track, which is right next door. Perhaps members are not aware the festival is being held? It's a very nice drive thru the pines
